Mountain Biking

There are three great areas to ride:

Duntroon Highlands offers 30 km+ of managed mountain biking trails for the novice to advanced rider.  It’s easy to register and buy the very affordable access pass to this private property from the Collingwood Off-road Cycling ClubAccess: From the doorstep of The Highlands House.

Three Stage in Pretty River Provincial Park is recognized as one of the top mountain biking spots in Ontario.  Its 75 km network of intermediate to advanced trails is well profiled on Trailforks. Access: It’s a 20km drive to the Three Stage access point at 2nd Line and 6th Side Road in The Town of the Blue Mountains.  Be sure to have a compass and Trailforks details as the extensive trails can even get the most navigationally talented biker twister around.

Kolapore Wilderness Trails have more than 50 kms of wilderness mountain biking.  This network offers rolling sets of trails to rocky single track that meander through this natural upland area.  Check out Trailforks and the Kolapore website for details.  Access: Jump in your car and drive the bikes over to the parking lot on Grey County Rd 2 or bike over…it’s only 25 kms from The Highlands House on a mix of paved and gravel roads.
