The Highlands House
Set high up on the Escarpment in the highlands of Duntroon, The Highlands House features a spacious, modern chalet with stunning views of the Bay and the surrounding countryside. It is at the epicentre of gravel and mountain biking routes. It also offers curated nature walks, culinary experiences and many more activities Collingwood & the South Georgian Bay region have become famous for.

The South Georgian Bay region offers a diverse range of outdoor activities and experiences for visitors to enjoy. Gravel biking is a popular activity, with the region’s scenic villages and gravel roads providing a unique backdrop for riders of all skill levels. The area also offers several options for mountain biking, with three distinct trail areas featuring networks of trails for riders of all levels. Hiking and trail running are also popular, with numerous trails available for exploration, including the Bruce Trail, Duntroon Highlands, Creemore Hills, Kolapore Uplands, and Nottawasaga Bluffs Conservation Area.

The Highlands House is located next door to Duntroon Highlands Golf and the oldest and longest hiking trail in Canada, The Bruce Trail. Take advantage of convenient access to golf, hiking and biking trails at your doorstep. Nourish yourself with food & beverage services from the Cafe at Duntroon Highlands providing you with all day dining options with locally inspired seasonal menus.












The Space
Situated near the top of the Escarpment, the property once operated as a farm dating back to the 1800’s. The designer chalet is surrounded by lush forest, apple orchards and open fields. Small streams trickle from the escarpment ‘brow’ and flow on to form the headwaters of the Batteaux Creek.
